Design high-reliability power electronics for demanding control systems, cabin systems, vehicle systems, and related applications.
Responsibilities
- Design DC/DC and AC/DC converters in high-reliability environments.
- Perform circuit design, part selection, schematic capture, PWB support, simulation, analysis, and verification testing.
- Work on converter topologies, magnetics, MOSFETs, Schottky diodes, IGBTs, motor drives, gate drives, analog circuitry, and control loops.
- Support lifecycle development, EMI filtering, lightning protection, and product improvements.
Requirements
- Electrical engineering background.
- Deep power conversion design experience with Buck, Boost, Flyback, Forward, Push-Pull, Half-Bridge, Cuk, Sepic, magnetics, control loop analysis, PSPICE, MathCad, DC/DC converters, and motor-drive systems.
