Certification Engineer

Role overview Support software certification work for embedded aerospace systems with a focus on DO-178B/C documentation, audits, certification evidence, and compliance reviews. Responsibilities - Prepare and review certification documentation including planning, requirements, verification, configuration, and accomplishment summary artifacts. - Support SOI audits and certification reviews. - Analyze embedded software evidence related to memory behavior, partitioning, object code, dead code, deactivated code, watchdog behavior, and structural coverage. - Support test planning, test procedures, unit testing, hardware-software testing, software-software testing, and worst-case analysis. - Work with DER or equivalent certification stakeholders. Requirements - Strong embedded software certification background. - Hands-on DO-178B/C experience with certification documents and audit support. - Experience with FAA/EASA certification programs and software accomplishment summary reviews.
