Support aircraft loads analysis for development programs and in-service aircraft using simulations, modeling frameworks, and certification-focused engineering judgment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct simulations and analyses to determine aircraft design loads.
- Develop and maintain low- and high-fidelity models for loads analysis.
- Build automated frameworks and tools to improve loads analysis efficiency and accuracy.
- Support store separation loads analysis and nonlinear actuator modeling.
- Use aircraft simulation environments and analysis tools to support certification evidence.
Requirements
- Aerospace or mechanical engineering background.
- Experience with external loads analysis, nonlinear modeling, certification processes, high-performance computing, flight dynamics, flutter, LCO, unsteady aerodynamics, finite element tools, and fly-by-wire systems.
